To study in Germany, you generally need to have a knowledge of German at the C1 level of the CEFR. You can obtain proof of your language skills by taking the TestDaF, the telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule examination or the German Language Examination for Admission to University (DSH – Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang). We offer you the appropriate preparation courses for each of these examinations. Combine the TestDaF exam course with the intensive courses in our Service Package.

Learn German for your studies!

Our examination courses for the TestDaF or the telc German C1 University examinations (starting from 2018) as well as our preparatory courses for DSH or Studienkolleg involve intensive training for the examination and preparation for the special language skills required to study at a German university. You can register to take the TestDaF and the C1 telc German University directly with us at the ISK. We recommend that you have completed the C1 level of the CEFR before you register for a preparatory course for your studies. This can be done by successfully completing an advanced course (C1 Oberstufe) in German. Combine the intensive courses with our TestDaF exam course and the exam in a service package of your choice.

When you book an examination course, we guarantee you a place for the examination.

TestDaF and telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule examination courses

You can register to take the TestDaF and the C1 telc German University directly with us at the ISK. Our examination courses involve intensive training for the examination and a mock exam. Book our course at the C1 advanced level to ensure that you are thoroughly prepared to take the TestDaF or telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule.

Studienkolleg and DSH preparation courses

Our preparatory courses for the Studienkolleg or the DSH include intensive exam training and a mock exam. For the Studienkolleg, we recommend level B2 of the CEFR, for the DSH preparatory course level C1 of the CEFR. Book our courses at the B2 level and/or the C1 advanced level to ensure that you are thoroughly prepared to take the Studienkolleg course or the DSH. The DSH and the entrance examination for the Studienkolleg can be taken at universities and at state-certified Studienkollegs anywhere in Germany. In Hannover, that is the Leibniz University. You are required to register directly at the university.
