Reading and Writing Courses

Do you want to not only speak German, but be able to read and write German as well?This is exactly what our literacy courses will teach you to do. The course focuses on the Latin alphabet, pronunciation and first writing exercises.

Literacy Courses (Reading and Writing)

The reading and writing course takes 1000 hours. It consists of a language course with 900 hours and an orientation course with 100 hours. An application can be made to extend the course by 300 extra hours. The reading and writing course ends with two final examinations – the DTZ – German Test for Immigrants (A2/B1 level) and the “Living in Germany” test.
