ISK Examinations

ISK Examinations

To prove that you have successfully completed a course, we offer internal exams on the A1-B2.2 levels as part of our intensive courses. You can also register for an ISK exam without having attended a course beforehand.

ISK Certificate

The ISK carries out all the German examinations in the intensive courses given at levels A1 to C1 of the generally binding competence levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). In the intensive courses weekly tests are held.

The weekly tests are made up of the following modules: listening comprehension, reading, grammar structures, writing and speaking.

A minimum of 60 percent is required to receive the ISK-certificate during the last week of the course. As a rule, the ISK examinations are recognized as the proof of language proficiency you require to become a German citizen or to apply for a medical doctor’s license to practice.

External participants will be charged an examination fee for these examinations; this also includes a prior consultation.
