DeuFöV Special Course B1
The B1 language level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is the first step in independent language use. The B1 certificate is proof of language proficiency required for naturalization. The B1 language level is also generally expected for many jobs, internships or a job-related qualification course. It is the prerequisite for attending courses in the higher level basic B2 and C1 courses with the medium-term goal of taking up a qualified job.
Monday – Friday | 25 hours per week | 16 weeks

- Proof of eligibility for a job-related DeuFöV language course according to Section 45 of the German Residence Act
- German language skills at the A2 level
Your personal contact person at the Job Center or the Employment Office will provide you with proof of your eligibility. Apprentices/job trainees get proof of their eligibility from the German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees.
