DeuFöV – Basic Course C1

Our DeuFöV Basic Course C1 is designed to help you acquire competent language skills. It is aimed at participants who, for example, want to achieve an appropriate language level for practicing highly qualified, non-regulated professions or who are looking for a new field of work.

DeuFöV Basic Course C1

The C1 level of language proficiency according to the CEFR forms the first stage of competent language use. In different occupational fields, it is required to be able to deal with daily tasks and sometimes even as a legal prerequisite before an individual can pursue this line of work. The individual German states decide which level is required; there are differences between the different states. In many German states, teachers, doctors, specialists and pharmacistsand social workers, for example, are required to have proficiency in German at the C1 level of the CEFR.
