DTB

The German test for job-related purposes (DTB) is a test that is offered at the end of the DeuFöV according to §45 Residence Act. There are 4 tests in total:

• German test for job-related purposes A2 (DTB A2)
• German test for job-related purposes B1 (DTB B1)
• German test for job-related purposes B2 (DTB B2)
• German test for job-related purposes C1 (DTB C1)

DTB – German test for job-related purposes

You take the German test for job-related purposes (DTB) at the end of the language course for job-related purposes. It is the final exam for the special job-related language courses A2 and B1 as well as for the basic job-related language courses B2 and C1. The four exams are used to test and certify communicative ability in the workplace at each specific level.
