DeuFöV- Learning German for your job. Our job-related German courses are designed to help you improve your German language skills for your integration into the German job market. You have the choice between the Special Courses A2 and B1, the Basic Courses B2 and C1 and further job-related language courses.

DeuFöV Basic Course B2

The B2 level of language proficiency according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) forms the second stage of independent language use. In different occupational fields, it is required to be able to deal with daily tasks and sometimes even as a legal prerequisite before an individual can pursue this line of work. In some German states, the B2 certificate is a prerequisite for being admitted to the special language examination for the Medical Association.

Monday – Friday | 8.30 am – 12.35 pm | 25 hours per week | 16 weeks

Monday – Friday | 1.15 pm – 4.30 pm | 20 hours per week | 20 weeks


  •  Proof of eligibility for a job-related DeuFöV language course according to Section 45 ofthe German Residence Act
  •  German language skills at the B1 level


Your personal contact person at the Job Center or the Employment Office will provide you with proof of your eligibility. Apprentices/job trainees get proof of their eligibility from the German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees.

Die Berufssprachkurse DeuFöV werden vom Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge und vom Bundesministerium für Arbeit und Soziales gefördert. Diese Kurse enden mit der Sprachprüfung telc B2.
